Prom was this past Saturday, and many of you know that Cody attended. We are proud to announce that Cody won Prom king, and he is very happy about that. He even seems to be taking the whole royalty thing to a new level, by asking for even more foot rubs and scalp massages. :) The day started out by practicing his walk that he would make for Promenade, and around 1:30 Anne came over to help get Cody ready to go take pictures down at the river. You should have seen the smile Cody had on his face when she walked in, it was something else. We got to the school for Promenade and Cody got to walk down the isle with Anne and Alysha the first time through, and the second time Anne wheeled him down. He did great smiling for everyone, and when he was crowned there were even more pictures to be taken. After Promenade, Cody, Anne, Lindsay, Ryan, and Jason went to Mama Maria's for dinner. They all had a great time, and got back home around 8:00. As soon as Cody came through the door he was ready to get out of his tux, but we had a hard time getting the crown off of him. :) he sure does like that thing. About 15 minutes after he got home was his first foot rub as king, and about 5 minutes later was the scalp massage... i guess the crown is fitting for him. Because of the busy day behind him, Cody went to bed at around 9:00. We are so proud of how great he did all day, and are so thankful for all the support Cody has received. Again thank you all so much for the prayers you send Cody's way, and we hope you all will keep him in your daily thoughts and prayers as he continues to regain his strength!
Thank you all again!
With love,
Dalton-Dulon Families & Anne
P.S. we will try to get some more prom pictures on here soon, and update a little more frequently!
